Ellio, a devoted churchman, has spent years suppressing every forbidden desire—until Lucian forces him to confront the feelings he can no longer deny. After becoming pregnant, Ellio flees to a remote mountain hermitage, only for Lucian to tear through every barrier to bring him back. As the Church turns their love into a public scandal, the two must face judgment, corruption, and their own guilt. In the end, Ellio chooses love over shame—and discovers that faith was never meant to take away his right to be loved.
